New York: 1955.
One-page letter on "Village Music Company" letterhead, New York City, June 30, 1955. Contract termination between Mozian and Hall-of-Fame songwriter (and reputed royalty thief) Sidney Prosen, in full: "This will acknowledge our release of contract, dated September, 1954 by and between ROGER KING MOZIAN and HOMETOWN MUSIC CO., INC and SIDNEY PROSEN d/b/s VILLAGE MUSIC COMPANY. This document declares said contract null and void." The letter and four-page contract each measure 11 x 8.5 inches and are both typed and signed in an unusual bright green ink. Paperclip impression near the upper left corner; contract stapled at the top. Very good condition.
Be-bop pioneer, piano, and vibes player.
