In this letter, Eberhart, a renowned American poet, sends a manuscript correction to his publisher from his retreat at the artists' colony Yaddo, in part: "...I have now built up this transitional sentence to read: About these three prose poems it is not necessary to murder to dissect but on a short Blake poem I would like to offer lucubration if commentary may be helpful in a poem which seems simple but has certain difficulties and complexities..." Two horizontal folds; near fine condition.
