Albany: Hosford, 1819.
Together with the Annual Address, by John Stearns, and (by Amasa Trowbridge), Two Cases in Surgery. 36pp., sewed; worn. Albany, E.& E. Hosford, Feb. 4, 1819.
First Edition. Not in Austin, and apparently quite rare. Stearns held the office of President of the Medical Society longer than any other person. His address represents one of the earliest attempts by an American physician to draw attention to the relations between dis eases in men and the geophysical conditions of the earth.
