1987. Promotional poster, 19.75 x 28 inches. White glossy paper, illustrated by Maurice Sendak in color. 1987. A near fine copy. Known as a children's author and illustrator, Maurice Sendak also designed sets for the stage. He started working with Glyndebourne Touring Opera in 1984 when they put on a opera based on his work, "Where the Wild Things Are." This promotional poster shows his set design for the company's production of Ravel's "l'Heure Espagnole."
