I flew to NY from CA a couple of weeks ago, and while walking 59th, happened upon Argosy... Amazing! I had very little wiggle room in my time between meetings, but I made sure I came back the next morning, also. I'm so impressed, and reading about the family history of the store impressed me even more. Thank you for having such a marvelous bastion of knowledge there in the city! I was truly impressed.
Dear Argosy - you've made my day - my order (Netherlands at War, 1940-1945) arrived on my doorstep this morning unheralded and very, very welcome. My sisters and I are Dutch immigrants in New Zealand and we all lived through that war 60 plus years ago as young kids. We had occasion to share what we remembered recently and now you've supplied the book. I can't tell you what this means...
