1898. 2.75 x 3.5-inch card, no place, no date, circa 1898, signed "Yours very truly J.C. Breckinridge Inspector General U.S.A." Faint uneven toning but still in very good condition overall. Union Army officer who was appointed an aide-de-camp to George H. Thomas in 1861. His cousin was a Confederate General and U.S. Vice-President. His brothers were Confederate Officers.
