First American edition. Overall a very good(-) copy. All the plates are in clean condition, with some offset to the opposite text pages, as usual. There is one rather large purplish stain on.....

A story of New England deep sea cod fishing. The only book of Kiplings set entirely in America. The binding has a slight lean, and there is light foxing through, but a tight, bright copy with leaf of ads at end.
