Berlin: 1877. 1 page, 8 x 5 inches, Berlin, January 26, 1877. This letter, written in German, is not translated but pertains to music. Loosely mounted to a larger sheet; several folds but still in very good condition. German mezzo-soprano who was a strong proponent of the bel canto vocal method. As a vocal instructor, she taught some of the greatest sopranos of the golden era, including Emma Calve and Nellie Melba. More
