Signed by all three members: Leopold Mannes (1899-1954), an American composer, pianist, and scientist who invented the kodochrome process of color photography; Luigi Silva (1903-1961), an Italian-born violinist and cellist who taught at Eastman School of Music, Juilliard, and the Yale Conservatory; Vittorio Brera, a composer, educator and world-acclaimed violinist. The inscription in Mannes' hand reads: "To Charles Heywood, with warmest greetings and with most pleasant memories of our concert at Queens College, February 26, 1950." Light..... More
