It occurred to me...that he has mentioned you as acquaintances or friends and if this be so...may I bring him, to thus keep both pleasures..." One horizontal fold; near fine..... More

Raised cameo shaped image, artistically centered and affixed to a 5 x 4.5-inch mount, with the author depicted waist-up in an elaborate Victorian outfit with matching hat, boldly signed top and bottom: "With Christmas Greetings 1900...Yours Most Sincerely, Kate-Douglas Wiggin." Damp-staining on the mount; good condition. American educator and author best known for her enormously popular novel "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm." More
