Contains Hemingway's story "Hills Like White Elephants" and contributions by James Joyce, Andre Breton, Robert McAlmon and others. The bottom third of the front cover has big coffee(?) splash, and there are similar stains to the bottom blank margins of many of the pages; the spine is chipped at the lower edge.

The wrappers are faded, lightly stained on the back cover, with a vertical crease on the front cover, but an excellent copy of an ephemeral little magazine.
