Edinburgh: Blackwood, 1856. 32 engraved plates, Thin 8vo, original brown cloth, worn at extremes and chipped at head. Edinburgh: Blackwood, 1856. First Edition. The front cover has spots from significant insect damage. The text block is uniformly browned, with a piece torn from the margin of one page. The plates are on heavier stock. Some are lightly foxed and two are water-stained at the edges. Altogether a good sound copy of an uncommon book.
