Edinburgh: Fullarton, Archibald, 1862. Map. Color wax engraving (cerograph). Image measures 16.25" x 20.75". A fine example of Sidney Edwards Morse's wax engraving technique. Includes former Boer territory of Transvaal Republic and Orange Free State. Map is in very good condition with full margins as issued, minor chips along top and left edges not affecting the image. Very light scattered foxing does not take away from the fine detail.
