Comments: First Edition in English. This work is chiefly clinical and practical, with brief references throughout to the anatomical and physiological bases of endocrinology. There are numerous photographic illustrations throughout. Curschmann (1875-1950) was a well known professor of neurology and director of the Medical Clinic at the University of Rostock.
