Comments: Very rare. Janin's Principal work. A valuable collection of memoirs containing an account of the first experiments with glasses of complementary colors. In the final section Janin gives the first published account of hypermetropia. The work also notes "the need for a convex glass to enable one to see distant objects."-Chance. Other notable inclusions are: Dissertations on the imperfections of the iris, lacrimal fistula and cataract. At the end there are 33 perscriptions of medications for the eyes. Becker 208. Blake 234. I want to thank you for your excellent service. I telephoned to inquire about the availability of a book this past Wednesday morning.
