Measures 7 1/2" x 9", 2 pages, signed L. Morris. Philadelphia, May 28, 1781.

Comments: "...for if the enemy should lend their whole force to the southward, he will not be able to resist them. We have reports today that they are about to evacuate New York, that they intend for the southward...Their movements are more secret than our..."
