1 page, 10.5 x 8.25 inches, Antibes, France, May 4, 1926. Rare letter signed "L. Krassine" by one the three oldest Bolshevik collaborators of Lenin who served as a member of the First Central Committee before the 1905 Revolution, Chief Commissar of the Central Commission for the Red Army Supplies during the 1917 Revolution, and President of the First Soviet Delegation to London in 1920. This letter thanks a colleague for medical services rendered during a stay in Antibes, in part: "...Avant le depart je...vous exprimer ma sincere reconnaissance pour les soins compitents que vous m'avez donne pendant mon sejour a Antibes..." Natural folds; very good condition.
