In the aftermath, she has written to their mutual friend and fellow opera star Pietro Cesari and is concerned that her current contract is scheduled to conclude on the 24th. Either way, she sends her greetings to friends in St. Petersburg and signs herself as a most devoted and affectionate good friend ("buono amica").
