Description: 1 page on "Seven Arts Productions" letterhead, 10.5 x 8.25 inches, Paris, France, April 8, 1961. In this letter to a woman at "Dance Magazine," Kelly expresses regret about declining an invitation, in full: "Just received your letter in Paris. Sorry I can't be there on the 28th. I'll be making a film all this summer over here. My best to you, and my congratulations to all the recipients." Natural folds, faint pencil mark in the left margin, and a tiny chip in the upper right corner; very good(-) condition but near fine in its overall presentation. Float-mounted and matted in white beside a photo of Kelly deep in thought, sitting on a small table backstage. Set in a silver and black frame measuring 16.75 x 22 inches.

Thank you for your kind response. As it turns out, I was able to visit the Argosy on Tuesday. In fact, I arrived shortly after opening and stayed most of the morning, making a number of purchases. I notice that you wrote to me a 10:34 AM, meaning that I was in the store when you sent me an email. One of life's many coincidences... Again, many thanks for your courteous response. Best regards, until my next visit! - Phillip R.
