Description: A 10 x 8-inch black-and-white 1942 photograph from the original negative, credited to George V. Costello, depicting Count Basie at the microphone at the Municipal Auditorium, Kansas City, MO. Printed in 1995 from the original negative by iconic Jazz photographer Paul Hoeffler, who had acquired the rights in the late 1950s. Signed "P J H" on the back in blue ink and captioned: "Count Basie w/ Jo Jones, Freddie Greene & Walter Page." Fine condition.
