Description: 1 page, 9 x 6.75 inches, Washington, D.C., November 29, 1945. In this letter, Bradley responds to a well-wisher, in part: "...It was a great pleasure for me to receive your letter of November 20 and I am happy to know that you have such confidence in me. Edwin Bok's autobiography was one of my favorite books in high school although sports stories were more interesting to me than others..." One horizontal fold and faint staining; still in very good condition.

I just finished reading about the store and your family in Nick Basbanes newest book, Patience & Fortitude. I had previously read an article in Book magazine. I wished that I lived near so I could visit your store, it looks and sounds like a place I dream of getting lost in. Basbanes book mentioned that your father began a memoir but was, sadly, unable to finish the work. Would it be in anyway possible to read what must be a great historical adventure in bookselling?
