Description: 3.75 x 6.5 inches, postmarked in Edwards, California, on June 18, 1977 and bears a 13-cent brown/white Liberty Tree. The envelope commemorates flight #CA1A with image of the Space Shuttle piggy-backing a ride on top of a 747 aircraft, captioned "First Captive Active Flight." Boldly signed by astronauts Fred Haise and Gordon Fullerton. Also signed by the complete 747 crew: Fitz Fulton, Tom McMurtry, Vic Horton, and Skip Guidry. Attractively signed and in fine condition.
