Description: 9.5 x 7.75 inches mounted to 12 x 8.5 inches, no place, no date, but possibly signed when Bergner and Basil Rathbone appeared together in the film "Paris Calling" in 1941 -- an original Cecil Beaton bromide print on card mount signed "Beaton" in red ink. This profile image shows actress Elisabeth Bergner sitting with her chin resting on her knee. Inscribed on the mount: "To Mr. and Mrs. [Basil] Rathbone with Love, Elisabeth Bergner." Near fine condition.

Comments: Ukraine-born stage and screen actress who was the inspiration for the character of Margo Channing in Joseph L. Mankiewicz's classic film "All About Eve."
