Description: 1 page, 7.75 x 5.75, Denver, Colorado, September 11, 1950. Written to Frederic R. Coudert, international law attorney and political power broker, in part: "Your memorandum, which accompanied your nice note of September 7th, is a clear presentation of a very important distinction that we must make if we are not to become confused in our 'foreign affairs' activities. I should like very much to talk to you about this and related subjects soon after I get back to New York. There has been some very bungled thinking on such questions..." Eisenhower is undoubtedly referring to the Korean War which had broken out that previous June. Staple holes in the upper left corner; otherwise very good position.
