Description: 13 x 10 inches, Chicago, December 13, 1933. This sepia photograph of the young actress shows her beautifully lit face floating in profile against a dark background and includes a "Maurice Seymour Chicago" stamp in the lower left corner. Inscribed and dated in white ink: "To Nelson B. Bell, May I express my appreciation for your kind thoughts? Lillian Roth." Light silvering, several small dark spots, and a tiny closed tear on the right edge; very good condition.
