Written at a time when his wife was severely ill in the United States, in full: "Thanks ever so much for the message your lovely roses and lilies are exhaling on the table right by Annie's bed. They are like the prayer for God's blessing on this human effort. Please don't think of coming all this way in the midst of your busy life. You will know we are grateful." Two horizontal folds; very good condition.
