This photo of the American operatic soprano, in the role of Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto, is inscribed to New York City Police Commissioner Joseph Schulz: "To Mr. J. Schultz [sic] with my very best wishes Jean Tennyson 1934." Near fine.

I've been looking for another copy of "West of the Indus" for nearly twenty years (I know, it's such a cultural wasteland out here in the provinces), and I never expected to find one with a dust jacket.
