Description: 1 page on personal embossed monogrammed stationery, 6 x 4 inches, Kent, England, June 6, 1868, accompanied by a handwritten envelope to Dr. W. C. Bennett, in full: "Today and tomorrow I am obliged to be in town early, but I think I will be happy to see you and any of your friends here at ten o'clock on Monday. I am yours very truly, "J.S. Mills." Natural folds; small pencil notations on the letter and front of the envelope; pen notation on the back of the dust-soiled envelope. The letter is in very good(+) condition; the envelope is very good(-).
