Description: 1 page on personal monogrammed stationery with an ornate embossed logo in the upper left corner, 10 x 7.5 inches, no place, no date, circa 1850, signed "G. Meyerbeer." In this letter, he informs the recipient that "After reflection, it would be better to keep the same sequence as in the rehearsal and that he will pick an hours time to teach the flute players their parts..." Natural folds and light creases; adhesive remnants on the back. Very good(-) condition.

Comments: German-born composer best known for such operas as "Les Huguenots" and "Robert le Diable."
