Description: 2 pages (front and back), 11 x 8.5 inches, Pacific Palisades, October 1, 1969. Written to a book designer, discussing certain new projects and reminiscing over some old ones. He asks that certain of his original writings not be changed, in part: "...Forgive me if I sound cranky, or whatever, but I must confess I am and always have been against this sort of meddling by the editorial minded gents...Do make it a handsome book-for Abe's sake. If necessary, get it done in Japan..." Paperclip impression on the top margin of page 1; paperclip rust stain in the bottom margin of page 2; otherwise very good condition.
