Description: 1 page on his business letterhead, 10.5 x 7.25 inches, New York City, August 21, 1928. In this letter, Bernays offers a glowing recommendation for his former secretary, in part: "...She can take the most difficult kind of dictation and turns out quick clean copy. Her personality is so good that we suggested to her the possibility of exploiting it as a model and...in her spare time act as stenographer and typist...I think that you will profit by having her with you." Several creases; small chip on the left edge. Very good(-) condition.

Thanks for the note. I'm actually in NY for a few days and was hoping to get there but have to head back tomorrow. I've been stopping by the Argosy for over 60 years starting when my mother would take me there after shopping at Bloomingdale's and lunch at a long gone restaurant on the east side of Lexington between 58th and 59th that was torn down to make way for Alexander's department store; that is gone too, of course. - Peter H.
