Comments: Third edition of the first medical parasitology text. "An exhaustive study of the parasites of man. Andry's views were often in advance of his time and, particular, he did not, like most of his contemporaries, believe in the spontaneous generation of parasites but clearly stated that their seeds entered the body from without and that some articles of diet were particularly liable to contain them."
