Written to a physician who mistakenly thought he had treated the General in World War II, in part: "...You have confused me with some other patient of yours in the 130th Station Hospital in the UK in WW II. I was never hospitalized a single day during WW II, either in the UK or in the US prior to leaving overseas..." Two horizontal folds; near fine condition.

Comments: United States Army Lieutenant General who distinguished himself in both World War II and Korea.
