Description: 1 page, 3.75 x 7.5 inches, Portsmouth, April 10, 1787. This document endorses a transaction between John Jonson and Jon Haven, where the former agrees to pay the sum of "Twelve shillings in loyal money." Large bold signature of Benjamin Chandler. Several dark spots and creases; tear on the bottom right. Very good(-) condition.

Comments: Revolutionary War patriot who was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Field Artillery in Captain Turner's Company -- under Major Hackett of the New Hampshire Militia.
