Description: 1 page, 10 x 7 inches, on her scarce caricature letterhead with exaggerated features, New York City, August 17, 1956. Written to Harry Harris, the editor of the "Philadelphia Inquirer," soon after the release of the motion picture titled "The Girl Can't Help It." In full: "...I just can't tell you what the beautiful article you wrote meant to me. I feel you have boosted my career so much. It is people like you who make a star out of a starlet..." One horizontal fold; near fine condition.

Comments: American film, theater, and television actress best known as a major Hollywood sex symbol of the 1950s and early 1960s. She died in an automobile accident on June 29, 1967, at the age of 34.
