Comments: Weisskunig is the 16th century account of the life of the Emperor Maximilian I. Written by Marx Treitzsaurwein following dictation and instruction from the emperor. It was illustrated primarily by a collaboration of Leonard Beck (1480-1542), Hans Burgkmair (1473-1531), Hans Schäuffelein (1480-1540), and Hans Springinklee (1490-1540)
