Comments: Catalogue Raisonne, the standard work on Degas. The first volume presents biographical data, and critical reviews. Volumes 2-3 are annotated catalogues of his oeuvre, a total of 1466 works. The last volume, "Tables," printed in red and black is a compilation of indices covering subject themes and illustrations. Number 272 of 980 copies.
