Description: 1 page, 11 x 8.5 inches, on "Cabinet Minister - Prime Minister's Office" letterhead, Jerusalem, November 24, 1976. Written to the National President of Hadassah, The Woman's Zionist Organization, agreeing to address Hadassah's 65th anniversary celebration, in part: "...I shall be delighted to give expression to the impact of Hadassah's activities on the realities of life in Israel and on our concepts here of Zionism and of the Diaspora. Of course I shall be glad to share with you there and then my thoughts on current Israeli issues..." Accompanied by the original postmarked envelope. Usual folds plus two small, closed tears on the upper right corner. Very good(-) condition.

Comments: Israeli jurist and Cabinet member best known as the chief prosecutor of Adolph Eichmann during his war crimes trial in 1961. Hausner is credited with exposing the Holocaust to the world through his aggressive cross examination of Eichmann, culminating in the defendant's admission: "I was only following orders."
