Comments: This lovely book includes 10 picturesque scenes of the Hudson River and surrounding area, from c. 1891. It begins with a bird's-eye-view of Manhattan from the southern tip. Subsequent prints provide a scenic tour along the river through Fort Lee, Pallisades [sic], Rockland, the Highlands, West Point, Storm King, Poughkeepsie, New Baltimore, and Albany. The included prints combine coastal landscape views with depictions of towns, boats, and architecture, all arranged in labeled, postcard-like compositions. The cover and interior pages are in very good condition.
