Description: 60 pages, 9 x 6 inches, signed Playbill for the premier performance of his play "The Milk Man Doesn't Stop Here Anymore" on January 1, 1964, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, starring screen and stage legend Tallulah Bankhead and Tab Hunter. Fine dark signature on the credits page. Near fine condition.

Comments: The production was plagued with difficulties from the start, and after premiering on New Year's Day, it ran for four additional performances before closing. Some of the kinder reviews used words like "awful," "horrendous," and "sub-par" when describing the play. Williams did not return after opening night, accounting for the rarity of this item.

I flew to NY from CA a couple of weeks ago, and while walking 59th, happened upon Argosy... Amazing! I had very little wiggle room in my time between meetings, but I made sure I came back the next morning, also. I'm so impressed, and reading about the family history of the store impressed me even more. Thank you for having such a marvelous bastion of knowledge there in the city! I was truly impressed. - Wil S.
