Beautifully detailed wall map of the African continent with an inset of the Azores. While most of the detailing is focused on the coast, there are attempts at describing the interior. In addition to geographical information, this map features various cultural, political and historical descriptions. D'Anville (1697-1782) was a prolific French Royal geographer. Very light scattered foxing. Wear and creases to edges. A few small tears.
