Description: Map. Color lithograph. Image measures 18 3/8" x 12 1/8".

Comments: Nicely detailed double page map of California divided into counties showing towns, major routes, railroads and waterways. In excellent condition. After serving in the Union army, George F. Cram (1842-1928) joined his uncle's map business and later established his own engraving and publishing firm in Chicago in 1869. This is an excellent example of his color lithography.

Dear Argosy, Thank you for your prompt and efficient attention to my order. It has arrived safely and I am very pleased with it. It was particularly good of you to take the trouble (and expense!) to send it priority mail. - K. McIntosh
