Description: Map. Color lithograph. Image measures 16.25" x 22.25".

Comments: Great double page map of Arkansas divided into counties and townships, showing all major towns and cities, waterways and railroad lines (both finished and unfinished). Provides a fascinating look at transportation in the late 19th century. Minor toning along right edge. Very small tear to top edge. After serving in the Union army, George F. Cram (1842-1928) joined his uncle's map business and later established his own engraving and publishing firm in Chicago in 1869. This is an excellent example of his color lithography.

Dear Argosy, Thank you for your prompt and efficient attention to my order. It has arrived safely and I am very pleased with it. It was particularly good of you to take the trouble (and expense!) to send it priority mail. - K. McIntosh
