Francesco Valllardi (1809-1895) was an mapmaker from a Milanese family of publishers, booksellers, and printers. His grandfather, also named Francesco, founded the publishing house in the 18th century, and was succeeded by his songs Giuseppe and Pietro who operated under the imprint Fratelli Vallardi. Francesco was one of Pietro's sons, and worked under his own imprint - as did his brother Antonio.
