Description: 1 page, 6.25 x 5 inches, on light blue paper, front and back, West Point, June 29th, 1839. Signed by military cadets and future Civil War generals Horace Porter and Richard Delafield as well as future confederate officer William Hardee. This document, the result of a war game played at the U.S. Military at West Point, states that a cadet named Jackson is to be paroled from Camp Robert E. Lee, by order of Hardee ("W. Hardee"), witnessed by Porter (signed in full) and delivered by Delafield (signed in full). Slightly stained on the upper margin of the front page and on the lower right corner of the back page; several folds. Very good condition and extremely rare.
