Sparks, Esq., inviting him to visit on the following day and thanking him for his kindness, in part: "...It will be agreeable to me to receive you tomorrow at 1 o'clock or at my other home which may better suit your convenience. With thanks for the kind interest and regard you are pleased to manifest towards myself..." 1 page, 8vo, 9 x 7.25 inches, plain paper with a small blind stamp in the upper left corner. Washington, December 28, 1855. Horizontal and vertical folds; still very good condition.
