Description: 1 page, 8 x 5.25 inches, Philadelphia, September 26, 1870. Exceedingly rare partly printed document -- a Western Telegraph transmission form to Senator William A. Wallace, in full: "Mr. D. has not called. Will see him at any time, Thos. A. Scott." Natural folds; top edge slightly chipped. Very good(-) condition.

Comments: American businessman, robber baron, and President of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Appointed by President Lincoln Assistant Secretary of State in which capacity he was in charge of all Government Railroads.
