Contains the financial statistics of each railroad, including the latest capital structure, latest revenue, net income, cost of equipment, and current board of directors. This is volume one of a planned three volume work. The other volumes were never published because of the Civil War. This volume lacks the 2 maps which were sometimes issued in a separate volume.
