Description: 12mo, blue cloth; rubbed, spine dulled. London: Longmans Green, 1948. First English Edition.

Comments: Although the book is in only fair condition, it bears a wonderful inscription on the title page: " For Lois Antrobus from her devoted father Thornton Wilder Antrobus 'Don't you know he'd die, if he didn't think you were perfect'. The Skin of Our Teeth, Westport, Conn., August, 1948." The quote is from "The Skin of Our Teeth", and Wilder, who acted in the play, presented this book to the actress who played his daughter.
