Comments: Multi-generational depiction of a mid-nineteenth century day at the beach. Minor chipping and scattered foxing. Winslow Homer, born in 1836 in Massachusetts, was a consummate American artist of his day. His contemporary scenes were from all strata of life. He worked until his death in 1910. Other Harper's Weekly Homer prints are available upon request. We have a vast collection, sorted alphabetically.
